I’m looking forward to moderating this cool (free!) virtual event for the King County Library System. As we pass the one-year mark of the pandemic, writers and creatives of all kinds are reflecting on what it means do the work in this strange, new world. In fact, I’ve posted about writing through this chaos before.
On March 10, 2021, at 7pm PT, join me and a three acclaimed YA authors — Kara Thomas, Matt Mendez, and Adam Silvera. — for a frank discussion of creativity, craft and how COVID-19 has impacted their professional writing journeys. Writing all sorts of titles, from picture books to middle grade novels to teen fiction during the pandemic is a challenge that’s front-of-mind for many in my community. If you’re available the evening of Wednesday, March 10, I invite you to spend an hour exploring this topic with us. There’ll be time for Q&A so bring your questions!
